CRA History
The firm’s founder and president, Dennis
Negran, is former Director of Human Resources for such firms as C.
Olivetti, Spa., Lucent Technologies, Harris Corporation, Lafarge North
America and Dynamics Research Corporation. He was also Senior Vice
President of Organizational Development for ManTech International.
Prior to this, he served as Director of Human Resources for Chromatis
Networks, a successful optical networking start-up that was grown from
12 employees to over 300 and acquired by Lucent Technologies for $4.7
billion. Chromatis Networks was the highest value acquisition in the
telecom industry for start-ups with no revenue.
As Director of
Human Resources for the networking division of Harris Corporation in
California, Mr. Negran directed the growth of the division to 650
employees through recruitment and retention during the dot-com boom of
the 1990s. He also assumed the role of Director of Global Programs for
the division's international program management operations in such
countries as China, Russia, Korea, Turkey, Indonesia and Central
America.
In his 25 plus years of Recruitment and Human Resources
experience, Mr. Negran has directed the Recruitment and HR discipline
in high tech start-ups, Fortune 50 Corporations and international
companies, representing the telecom, office products, manufacturing and
defense industries. Mr. Negran has created and directed HR and
Recruitment departments in companies as large as 20,000 employees. He
is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with B.A. degrees in
Pre-Law and Philosophy, and holds an M.A. in English from Penn State as
well. He also attended the Dickinson School of Law in Pennsylvania. Mr.
Negran is a native of New Jersey, and after founding the firm in
California, is now a resident of Virginia.
